Terms of Use

Before using Focal Cam, please review these basic rules. The app mainly captures, processes, and saves content on your device; Pro purchases are handled by the App Store. When shooting, exporting, and sharing content, please respect other people's rights and applicable rules.
1. License
You may install and use Focal Cam on Apple devices that you own or control. This is a personal license to use the app; it does not mean you own the app itself.
Please do not copy, resell, rent, crack, reverse engineer, bypass security limits, or use the app in a way that harms the app, devices, services, or other people's rights.
The app mainly provides local camera capture, filter preview, frame rendering, in-app library management, and Pro purchases. Some features require Camera, Photos, Location, or Microphone permission; if a permission is denied, related features may not work fully.
2. Apple Standard EULA
When you obtain or use this app through the App Store, Apple's standard end user license agreement also applies. Matters not covered here are governed by Apple's standard EULA and applicable law.
3. Privacy and Permissions
The app's handling of permissions, photos, location, device orientation, Pro entitlement cache, sharing, and feedback is described in the Privacy Policy available in the app and on this website.
Camera, Photos, Location, and Microphone permissions are managed by iOS and can be revoked in Settings. Revoking a permission may stop related features, but it does not affect features that do not depend on that permission.
Focal Cam currently has no account system, cloud sync, ad tracking, or third-party analytics reporting. If we add data processing that requires additional explanation, we will update the Privacy Policy and these terms.
4. Pro Purchases and Renewals
Focal Cam Pro unlocks advanced capture, filter, frame, and customization features marked as Pro in the app. Specific benefits may evolve across versions, but users with an active purchase keep the corresponding Pro access while the purchase is valid.
Focal Cam Pro offers monthly and yearly auto-renewing subscriptions, as well as a one-time Lifetime Pro purchase. Product names, periods, prices, currencies, taxes, offers, and availability are shown on the purchase page and App Store confirmation sheet.
Monthly and yearly subscriptions are charged through your Apple ID and renew automatically at the end of the current period until canceled. You can cancel in Apple Account subscription management; cancellation usually needs to be completed at least 24 hours before the current period ends.
Lifetime Pro is a one-time purchase and does not renew automatically. After reinstalling the app or changing devices, you can restore it on the Pro page with the same Apple ID.
Purchases, renewals, cancellations, refunds, Family Sharing, and payment issues are handled by Apple and the App Store. The app determines whether Pro is active only from StoreKit transaction results and the local entitlement cache.
5. Your Content
- Make sure you have the right to shoot, import, edit, save, export, and share the relevant content, and pay attention to copyright, likeness, privacy, and sharing scope.
- Names, signatures, avatars, logos, and frame text that you enter or choose must not impersonate others or infringe other people's rights.
- After photos are saved to the Photos app, sent to other apps, or shared with others, they are affected by system settings, destination platform rules, and recipient rules.
- When you enable motion content such as Live Photo, remember that recorded images and audio may include other people's likeness, voice, location, or other sensitive information.
6. Features and Limitations
- Preview, capture, filters, frames, and final results may vary based on device model, system version, lens capabilities, light, permissions, and storage status.
- The in-app library depends on local storage. Uninstalling the app, clearing data, or deleting files may make in-app photos, profile data, and settings unrecoverable.
- Photos, iCloud, share sheet, Mail, geocoding, App Store transactions, and similar capabilities are provided by iOS, Apple, or the third-party services you choose.
- Do not use the app for illegal activity, infringement, harassment, non-consensual monitoring, system security abuse, or other improper purposes.
7. Changes and Termination
We may update features, settings, explanatory text, and these terms as the app evolves. Updated terms will be shown in the app or on the website and take effect when the corresponding version is released or from the date shown on the page.
If accounts, cloud sync, data reporting, or other capabilities requiring additional explanation are added in the future, we will add the relevant terms. If you do not agree to updated terms, you may stop using the app.
