When reporting an issue, please include your device model, iOS version, app version, steps to reproduce, and relevant screenshots. Please do not send unnecessary sensitive photos or personal information.
2. Frequently Asked Questions
- Camera cannot open: confirm that Focal Cam has camera permission in iOS Settings and that the device supports the selected capture capability.
- Cannot save or import photos: check Photos permission and available device storage.
- Location does not appear in frames: enable Location permission and turn on saving capture location in the app.
- Live Photo has no audio: confirm that Microphone permission is enabled. Regular still photos do not use the microphone.
- Pro cannot be restored: make sure you are using the Apple ID used for the original purchase and try restoring again with a working network connection.
3. Permissions
Focal Cam may request Camera, Photos, Location, and Microphone permission. Camera and Photos are used for core capture, import, and save flows. Location and Microphone relate to specific features and can be revoked anytime in iOS Settings.
4. Local Data and Deletion
In-app photos, thumbnails, profile data, preferences, and frame settings are mainly stored on this device. You can delete photos from the in-app library. Copies saved to the Photos app need to be managed separately in the Photos app or iOS Settings.
